*Cancelled* Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Kenner Man

Jefferson Parish - Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the Kenner Police Department for 65-year-old James Evans, Jr. Evans was last seen at approximately 9:50 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. He was discovered missing this morning around 10:30 a.m. Mr. James is a patient at an assisted living facility in Kenner, where he walked away from.

Evans is a black male with brown eyes and grey hair. He is 6'00" tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a teal shirt and burgundy pants.

Family members confirm that Evans suffers from a medical condition that may impair his judgment. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Kenner Police Department at 504-712-2222 or dial 911. All questions should be directed to the Kenner Police Department.
