Traffic Advisories and Street Closings in The City of York

TRAFFIC ADVISORIES AND STREET CLOSINGS IN THE CITY OF YORK

The following events will take place and affect traffic in the City of York:

Friday October 4th:

First Friday will close Beaver St between Philadelphia St and King St from 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

William Penn Senior High School Homecoming Parade will happen between 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Rolling road closures will be used along the parade route. The parade begins at Princess St and Beaver St, and will travel east on Princess St, north on George St through Downtown York, east on Hamilton Ave to Small Field. Any intersection closures will be short because of the rolling roadblock. Please be patient and avoid the area if needed. College Ave is an alternate east/west route that will not be directly affected by this parade.

Saturday October 5th:

York City Police Department Fall Fest will close King St between Pershing Ave and George St, and close Beaver St between Princess St and Market St from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Octoberfest will close Madison Ave between Roosevelt Ave and Hartley St from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Latino Health Fair York will close Lindberg Ave between College Ave and Church Ave. Traffic will also be restricted around the east and south sides of Penn Park to avoid delays. Motorists will still be able to get around Penn Park via Pershing Ave and College Ave.

Jesus Loves York Block Party will close West St between King St and Princess St from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

George Street Dining will close George St between Philadelphia St and North St from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

William Penn Senior Highs School Homecoming Dance will close Pershing Ave between College Ave and Princess St from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

AVISOS DE TRÁFICO Y CIERRE DE CALLES EN LA CIUDAD DE YORK

Los siguientes eventos tendrán lugar y afectarán al tráfico en la Ciudad de York:

Viernes 4 de octubre:

First Friday cerrará Beaver St entre Philadelphia St y King St desde las 3:00 pm hasta las 9:30 pm.

William Penn Senior High School Homecoming Parade se llevará a cabo entre las 4:30 pm y 7:30 pm. Los cierres de carreteras se utilizarán a lo largo de la ruta del desfile. El desfile comienza en Princess St y Beaver St, y viajará hacia el este por Princess St, hacia el norte por George St a través del centro de York, hacia el este por Hamilton Ave hasta Small Field. Los cierres de intersecciones serán breves debido al bloqueo rodado. Por favor, sea paciente y evitar la zona si es necesario. Octoberfest cerrará Madison Ave entre Roosevelt Ave y Hartley St de 10:30 am a 6:30 pm.
