Celebrating summer ESL programming

Brock's summer English as a Subsequent Language (ESL) programs came to a close with a Health Fair on Friday, Aug. 23. Held in the International Centre Global Commons, the event featured presentations from a specialized Applied Health Sciences ESL program. Kureha Shibuya (left) and Mizuki Nishimura, both from Japan, explored the effects of alcohol during their presentation. This spring and summer, Brock welcomed French-Canadian students learning English as well as ESL learners from around the world through its Intensive English Language Program, Summer English Language Program and Explore Program. Brock's ESL programming will resume for the Fall Term Monday, Sept. 9.
