Our members are the reason our operations succeed. Our SIDE Award recognition program was created tocelebrate our members that continually demonstrateexcellence in the Peckham values of Safety, Integrity, Dedication, and Efficiency. Heather Guare has had many roles through her 20-yeartenure with Peckham Industriesand is a summer 2024 recipient of a SIDE Award due to herdedication to safety. At Peckham, we strive to protect family and friends. Through CPR training that is offered several times per year, we have created a small army of members that can take life savingactions both at work and at home. Heather has livedthis personally and now has been an integral part of our company training promoting CPR. This is the Peckham Way and how our trained members show up every day. We live in a world where at times our members, customers and neighborslives can be threatened by life ending health issues such cardiac arrest. With quick actions of others, lives be saved. Thanks to Heather's personal story and promotionof CPR training we have about 40% of our memberstrained in CPR- so they too can be ready if the time comes to take action.Thank you, Heather, for continuouslyshowing upThe Peckham Way!

Seeing others leading by example is infectious. The people you find in every one of our locationsmake all the difference, especially in Oxford, MA. Christopher "Chip" Hoythas had many roles throughout his 30-year tenure with Peckham Industries and is a summer 2024 recipient of a SIDE Award due to his commitment to serve and caring for his community. In 2023, along-time neighbor to the Oxford quarry was diagnosed with cancer. Over the years, he has always showedup to Oxford town meetings to speak on behalf of the company. Mark doesn'thave family nearby to help him get to doctors'appointments and just to make sure he has the daily necessities anyone needs to get through dayto day. A few of the tenured Oxford members have gotten to know Mr. Thibodeau over the years and have always periodically checked in with him. When Chip learned of Mr. Thibodeau's diagnosis he started stopping over after work to check in on him and see if he needed anything. Chip knew he has a hyperactive dog also, so he knew that it would be a difficult responsibility going through his treatment. Although it seems like Mr. Thibodeau is stubborn and doesn'talways accept offers from Chip, he still goes over to check in with him. There'sno doubt he feels a little more secure knowing that all the years of supporting the local company, he has support from them.Chip's actions can even be seen to be affecting positive attitudes in others. This is the way you grow culture. Thank you, Chip, for continuously showing upThe Peckham Way!
