Cameron University offers CU Become an Educational Leader workshop

If you're considering earning a master's degree to become a school principal or other school leader (which requires a minimum of one year experience as a classroom teacher), then "CU Become an Educational Leader," a free, specialized workshop, is for you. This informative workshop, presented by Cameron University's Department of Education, takes place on Tuesday, April 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Johnson Auditorium at Ross Hall.

For more information, contact Brenda Dally, Director of Admissions, at [email protected] or call 580-581-2289.

"A degree in educational leadership prepares those who wish to move into administrative roles in the PK-12 school system," says Jennifer Dennis, dean of the CU School of Graduate and Professional Studies. "Taking on a leadership role as a principal brings new responsibilities. The curriculum for the Master of Science in Educational Leadership helps those who transition from the classroom into a leadership position."

The Master of Science in Educational Leadership degree program at Cameron University is a comprehensive program designed to prepare experienced educators to take on prominent leadership roles in PK-12 school systems. The program will prepare students to be strong educational leaders and increase their capacity to cultivate leadership in others.
