TFBF Urges Congress and USDA to Aid Tennessee Farmers and Communities Impacted by Hurricane...

Following devastation left by Hurricane Helene in parts of East Tennessee, Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation sent letters to congressional leadership and United States Department of Agriculture requesting assistance to Tennessee farmers and rural communities impacted.

"TFBF respectfully and urgently calls for action to aid farmers and communities in recovery efforts following the tragedies beset by Hurricane Helene," said Tennessee Farm Bureau President Eric Mayberry. "The magnitude of damage is extensive, catastrophic and still being fully comprehended. As recovery begins, we implore Congress and USDA to ensure farmers are not left behind."
