Birding Basics, Patoka Lake

Join us for an intro to bird watching! The program will start with a short discussion at the Nature Center about the tools needed for bird watching followed by an easy 40-minute walk along the paved bike trail to use your new skills. Bring binoculars, your smart phone with the Merlin Bird ID App downloaded (it's FREE), and weather appropriate clothing and shoes. This event is geared toward beginner level birders, but all experience levels are welcome!
