Salve Regina has again been recognized as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate students in the annual Princeton Review guide. Only 15% of America's 2,600 four-year colleges are profiled in the guide's book, The Best 390 Colleges: 2025, which published August 27, 2024.

The Princeton Review guide also includes Salve among the "Best Northeast" and top "Green Colleges" in the nation. The University scored among the top 25 in several student life categories. Our #2 ranking for "College City Gets High Marks" and #11 ranking for "Most Beautiful Campus" reflect our stunning seaside location. Achieving the #10 ranking for "Most Engaged in Community Service" is a testament to our students living the Salve mission of working for a world that is harmonious, just and merciful.

Niche ranked Salve as one of the Best College Locations in America at #68 out of 1,512 and Business Insider included Salve in its list of the Most Beautiful Colleges in Every State.

Salve also made its first appearance on this prominent list of the 500 Best Colleges in the U.S., published September 5, 2024. Based on a national survey of more than 100,000 undergraduate students and recent alumni, the list ranks institutions by the value they provide to students. It looks at the learning environment, years to pay off the net price, degree completion rates, the likelihood of higher salaries post-graduation and diversity.
