Curated new cardholder benefits provide savings on products and solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of Canadian entrepreneurs

In celebration of Small Business Month, Mastercard is announcing new cardholder offerings to benefit Canadian small businesses, growing its suite of existing tools and solutions. Through strategic partnerships with Slack, Asana, FlexiRoam, H&R Block and others, Mastercard is reinforcing its long-standing commitment to helping every small business thrive through innovation and community.

Small businesses power the Canadian economy at national and local levels - in fact, 66 cents of every $1 spent at a small business stays within its local economy (CFIB). However, these businesses face unique challenges that require differentiated solutions to allow them to continue their important contributions to their local communities.

This month, Mastercard is unveiling new additions to its suite of cardholder offerings designed to meet the diverse needs of small business cardholders.

Strategic partnerships designed to empower small business cardholders

Eligible Small Business Mastercard cardholders can access benefits designed to meet a broad range of needs and generate significant savings and partnership offers:

FlexiRoam:  Eligible World Elite Mastercard for Business cardholders will receive Global Data Roaming service that provides data connectivity in all parts of the world when you travel¹. 

H&R Block: Mastercard Small Business Standard or World Elite Mastercard for Business cardholders will receive a discount on DIY & Assisted tax filing services for new clients². 

Slack: With Mastercard Easy Savings, Mastercard Business cardholders will receive a 25% rebate on upgrades to Slack Pro and Business+ enabling easier access to powerful productivity and collaboration tools³.

Asana Work Management: Small businesses will now have greater access to the same platform used by the world's leading companies to improve project management. With Mastercard Easy Savings, Mastercard Business cardholders will receive a 20% rebate on Asana annual subscriptions to work more efficiently⁴.

Mastercard Easy Saving Specials: Mastercard Business cardholders can receive merchant offers redeemed at checkout with the Mastercard Easy Savings Specials program, a simple and automated solution that brings services together to help small businesses save time and money. New merchants such as Everand, Welcome Pickups, DocuSign, Keeper, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Designs.ai, 123RF and Visme have been added to the program, providing cardholders with even more savings on the tools and services they use to grow their businesses.
