Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvements to Close Rock Hill Road in Lower Merion Township

08/29/2024

King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on Rock Hill Road in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Monday, September 9, through Monday, September 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday closure is scheduled on Rock Hill Road between Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road) and Belmont Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road), U.S. 1 (City Avenue), and Belmont Avenue.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
