August 27, 2024- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2313 Kirk Street about 1:55 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 26).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Davidson and A. Finlay reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call inside a residence at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses informed officers that two suspects entered the house, stole two firearms and shot the victim before fleeing. The suspects are described only as black males between 17 and 22 years old.
