Westport male arrested for assault 3rd

On September 13, 2024, State Police members arrested Justin Marsha, age 40, of Westport, NY, for assault 3rd.

On September 13, 2024, at approximately 2:52 a.m., Troopers responded to Youngs Road in the town of Westport for an assault complaint. An investigation determined Marsha and the victim were involved in a physical altercation when Marsha struck the victim in the face and kicked the victim in the ribs. The victim was treated by Elizabethtown-Lewis EMTs but signed off on further medical treatment from a hospital.

Marsha left the residence before law enforcement's arrival. Marsha was located, arrested, and transported to SP High Peaks for processing. He was released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Westport Court for a later date in October.
