City Teams Up with Eckerd College to Give Teens a Taste of College Life

Aug. 2, 2024 - Earlier this week, the City of St. Petersburg partnered with Eckerd College to host TASCO U, a new program aimed at giving teens in the TASCO (Teen Arts, Sports, and Cultural Opportunities) Program a firsthand glimpse into college life.

During a visit to Eckerd College, the students were given a freshman orientation experience, combining interactive activities, informative sessions, and hands-on workshops to learn about the college environment. The students also had the opportunity to explore campus culture, discover academic opportunities, and build connections with peers in a dynamic setting.
