Death Investigation In The Area of Fifield Street, Dorchester

At about 8:34 PM, on Friday, June 28, 2024, officers assigned to District 11 (Dorchester) responded to a report of a car that crashed into a building at 24 Fifield Street. On arrival, the officers located the passenger of the vehicle, an adult male, who had a broken leg and was transported by Boston EMS to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle, an adult male, was found non-viable and was pronounced on scene.


The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
