Commission Awards Contracts for Southeast District Projects

SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on Oct. 2. Contracts included bridge replacements, the addition of outer roads and pavement resurfacing.

Contracts included the following:

  • A $1,971,479 contract was awarded to Joe's Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route 19 over Hurricane Creek in Shannon County.
  • A $26,443,934 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for the addition of outer roads and lanes to upgrade Route 67 to freeway standards in Butler County. The new outer roads and lanes will be constructed at the following locations:
    • County Road 338 south to County Road 352, and;
    • County Road 360 to County Road 338.
  • An $841,424 contract was awarded to Joe's Bridge & Grading, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route B over Drainage Ditch 1 in Butler County.
  • A $7,929,860 contract was awarded to APAC-Central Inc., for pavement resurfacing on the following routes:
    • Routes Y, OO, NN, WW, AF, FF, and AK in Douglas County,
    • Routes K and E in Wright County,
    • Routes AR and FF in Ozark County,
    • Route P in Howell County, and;
    • Route N in Douglas and Ozark counties.
