Grant Writing Workshop With NEH Program Officer

On Sept. 11 and 12, Beauty Bragg, program officer in the Division of Research Programs at the National Endowment for the Humanities, will visit the U of A campus for a two-day workshop on NEH program grants. This event is open to anyone in the region, including academics, museum specialists, community groups or others interested in applying for NEH programs.

At the workshop on Sept. 11, attendees will learn about how to apply for individual grants for the NEH, (both the summer and year-long), get information on larger multi-party and interdisciplinary grants and hear tips on how to better address program needs. On Sept. 12, Bragg will be available for a limited number of one-on-one sessions to discuss grant parameters, drafts and project proposals.

If you are interested in attending all or part of the workshop, please RSVP at the link below. Those interested in meeting with Bragg on Sept. 12, please indicate your interest on the form.

All sessions will take place in the Arkansas Union, rooms 507-511, at the U of A campus. This event is being organized by Tricia Starks, director of the U of A Humanities Center, and Molly Throgmorton, associate director for research development for the U of A Division of Research and Innovation.

Lunch and refreshments on Sept. 11 will be offered by the U of A Humanities Center.
