JD Vance Sided With Donald Trump Over the Border Patrol When He Followed Trump’s Orders to “Kill” Bipartisan Border Deal Arrow

As JD Vance visits the border today, DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd released the following statement:

"JD Vance already played political games with our border security before when he caved to Trump's self-serving demands to 'kill' the toughest, fairest bipartisan border deal in decades for Trump's own political gain. That's why he sided with Trump over border patrol agents and the American people to block funding to secure the border and efforts to detect fentanyl - and that's why Vance continues to push Trump's cruel and divisive Project 2025 immigration agenda. The Trump-Vance ticket has already proven they'll put politics ahead of the American people, and voters are ready to support Vice President Harris because they can trust her to deliver real solutions and fix our broken immigration system."

JD Vance caved to Donald Trump's demands by helping tank bipartisan legislation to improve our immigration system and border security and detect fentanyl coming over the border.

JD Vance: "[The bipartisan border security bill] does nothing to secure the border."

Vance has defended Trump's racist immigration rhetoric and shares Trump's extreme and cruel Project 2025 immigration agenda that includes ripping away children from their parents, rounding up people into detention camps, and using the military to carry out mass deportations.
