'Arkansas News' Email to Return to Daily Schedule Aug. 5

Arkansas News, the daily summary of U of A news is sent via email to students, faculty, staff and other subscribers, will return to its normal delivery schedule on Monday, Aug. 5, hitting inboxes five days a week except university holidays.

Over the course of summer, the Arkansas News email was only delivered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. However, with move-in on the horizon and many returning to campus for the fall semester, subscribers can expect Arkansas News to be their source of campus information Monday through Friday. All recently published university news and features will always be available at news.uark.edu.

What you need to know about Arkansas News and news.uark.edu:

• News.uark.edu is the primary source for university news and information for internal and external audiences.

• The university's news content is compiled, edited and produced by the Office of University Relations.

• Submissions should focus on university news and information or include a summary of a partnership, sponsorship or other related collaboration that provides a clear connection to the university.

• All material proposed for news.uark.edu should be submitted in writing and must include a name, campus unit, email and telephone number for a contact person, which are published with the article. Anonymous submissions and submissions from entities not affiliated with the university will not be accepted.

• Arkansas News, delivered via email to the entire campus community, provides a summary of select university news and information available at news.uark.edu. The university exercises editorial discretion over this content.

Students, faculty and staff are automatically subscribed to Arkansas News. Other current subscribers will continue to receive the daily news update.
