Police continue to investigate shooting

Halifax Regional Police is continuing to investigate a shooting that occurred in Halifax last night.

At approximately 1:40 a.m. officers responded to a report of an injured person in the area of the 5800 block of Duffus Street in Halifax. Officers located a 39-year-old man who had been shot. The man was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A dark-coloured SUV was seen in the area at the time of the incident.
