A statement from the Mayor of Blacktown City, Brad Bunting

I am devastated by the terrible news of a fatal house fire in Lalor Park early on Sunday morning.

We thank fire and rescue, police, and all emergency services officers for their immediate response. The work they do is so vital to us all.

In the days ahead our Council will look to support the heartbroken family and local residents.

The people of Blacktown City will rally around the community of Lalor Park.
