Arrington Responds to Trump Indictment

Washington, D.C. - Today, House Budget Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement in response to special counsel Jack Smith's latest indictment against former President Trump:

"The blatant political persecution of President Trump and state-sanctioned election interference by the Biden-Harris Administration continues. The repeated law-fare and weaponization of the Justice Department by Biden-Harris has eroded public trust and set a dangerous precedent for our Republic. Fortunately, the American people - not rogue prosecutors - will have the last say in this matter."
