Sequoia Park Re-Opening to Vehicles

ATTENTION PARK VISITORS

The Sequoia Park Duck Pond Road will be re-opening to vehicle access beginning Wed., September 4, 2024. The road through the park had closed for a myriad of roadway repair issues that have been successfully resolved.

The main entry gate on W Street will be open for vehicles Wednesdays - Sundays, 8:30am - 4pm and will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The park road is narrow and one way with the exit gate located at Glatt and T Streets.

Vehicles longer than 20 feet, RVs, motorhomes, etc. are prohibited and will not be able to navigate the narrow, one lane road.

The City asks everyone to exercise caution, be alert and aware of your surroundings as well as any children with you, keep all dogs on a leash and obey posted speed limit signs.

By allowing vehicles to drive through Sequoia Park, community members of all abilities are able to experience the natural beauty of this beloved Eureka park.
