Four New Commissioners Appointed

Gainesville, VA, October 3, 2024 ─ The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA® ), the Gold Standard in Public Safety, is pleased to announce the appointment of four new Commissioners. They are Sheriff Carter Weaver, Georgetown County (SC) Sheriff's Office, Chief Jason Fields, Fort Myers (FL) Police Department, Dr. Julie Hibdon, Southern Illinois University, and John Letteney, Assistant Town Manager, Town of Morrisville, NC. Additionally, three current CALEA Commissioners have been reappointed. All appointments and reappointments are effective January 1, 2025.
