Notice of Adopted and Filed Changes to the Regulations of the Alaska Board of Professional Counselors

On September 13, 2024, the Board of Professional Counselors adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 62 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern updates dealing with continuing education verification requirements and standards for an approved counselor supervisor certification.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on October 2, 2024, and are effective on November 1, 2024. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 252, January 2025 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
