Business Faculty Honored by Crain's Detroit

LIVONIA, MICH. - Mark Lee, a business adjunct faculty member at Madonna University and CEO of The Lee Group, has been named one of Crain's Detroit's Notable Black Business Leaders. The recognition highlights executives, entrepreneurs, and leaders who have made an impact in fields including finance, technology, health care, real estate, hospitality, law, the arts, and community service.

Crain's Detroit selected the honorees based on nominations from peers, colleagues, friends, and family, and evaluated by Crain's Detroit Business editors based on career accomplishments, success, and impact. Profiles are based solely on the information provided in the nomination forms.

Mark Lee leads The Lee Group, an independent marketing consulting firm that provides services in branding, re-branding, communications, and professional development training. In 2024, The Lee Group saw growth with several new clients and continued its annual Small Business Workshops, attended by over 1,000 participants.

In addition to his role at Madonna University, Lee teaches marketing as an adjunct professor at Eastern Michigan University and Northwood University. He also engages in public speaking, panel moderating, and business coaching, and contributes to various media outlets on topics related to business, marketing, and branding.
