Countywide Community Revitalization Team To Hold Public Meeting September 10

The Office of Community Revitalization (OCR) invites you to attend the Countywide Community Revitalization Team (CCRT) meeting on Tuesday, September 10, at 10 a.m. The meeting will take place in person at the Vista Center Hearing Room 1E-60, 2300 N Jog Rd., West Palm Beach, FL, and will be accessible virtually and via conference call.

This month's meeting features guest speakers Rae Milmore, Community Engagement Specialist, and Nicole Prieto, Urban & Community Engagement Fellow, from the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. They will discuss the Refuge and its Urban and Community Engagement Program.

The A.R.M. Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, headquartered in Boynton Beach, offers visitors a chance to experience the habitats and wildlife of the northern Everglades. More than just a destination, the Refuge actively seeks to enhance local communities in Palm Beach County through various partnerships and programs.

Ms. Milmore and Ms. Prieto will present an overview of the Refuge and highlight the Urban and Community Engagement Team's initiatives to connect with local youth and priority communities. The Refuge continually seeks partnerships with community leaders, agencies, and organizations to expand existing programs and develop new projects collaboratively.

This public meeting provides an excellent opportunity for residents to network with county agencies, OCR partners, and other community leaders who positively impact Palm Beach County. Join us to strengthen our community and celebrate the contributions of impactful individuals.
