City Manager Announces Date For Third Reading of Encroachment Removal and Prohibited Camping Ordinances

Des Moines, Iowa- Wednesday, August 14, 2024 - City Manager Scott Sanders announced today that the third reading of municipal code items relating to abandoned property and the removal of encroachments, as well as prohibited camping, will be scheduled for the Council meeting to be held on Monday, September 16. "We are continuing our work to fully complete the seven Council directives which also includes finalizing working agreements and contracts," Sanders said.
