The recent Rapid Hire event and collaboration between Parks, Fleet Management, Human Resources and the NM Workforce Connection was a huge success.

Many candidates applied online before the event, but others were able to apply on the spot with the help of the NM Workforce Connections staff who were on-site to assist applicants fill out online applications.

Applicants were screened onsite by HR, and they processed qualified candidates for rapid interviews.

Offers were made the same day to selected, qualified candidates­--five offers were made on behalf of the Parks division and two offers for auto mechanics at Fleet.

All seven open positions were filled.
