Parts of Parks Plan Progressing

With updates and additions on the table for Community Park, the first phase of work is set to begin soon.

The recent update of the Township's Comprehensive Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan recommended developing a master plan for the court complex in Community Park.

With a draft of the master plan now complete, staff presented a vision for this area of the park that calls for two new public play pickleball courts and improvements to the tennis and volleyball areas. The Board will consider putting the first phase of this project - which includes the two new pickleball courts and tennis court rehab - out to bid during the August 1 meeting.
