Permanent Council to Pay Tribute to Former Chilean President Sebastian Piñera and to Consider Date for Election of Next Secretary General and Assistant Secretary General of the OAS

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, December 4 at 09:30 EST (14:30 GMT) in the Hall of the Americas, at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC, to pay tribute to the late former President of Chile Sebastián Piñera, and to consider the draft resolution "Convocation of Special Sessions of the General Assembly to Elect the Secretary General and the Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States," among other topics.
