NOPD Seeking Suspect in Seventh District Shooting, Burglary Incident

The NOPD is seeking assistance in identifying and locating a suspect sought in the investigation of an aggravated battery by shooting incident that stemmed from a residential burglary this morning (December 10, 2024) in the Seventh District.

At about 8:40 a.m., the pictured unknown male reportedly burglarized a residence in the 7800 block of Lady Gray Street. Once the subject left the location, he allegedly forced entry into a second residence in the 7700 block of Lacombe Street. A victim confronted the subject at the location, at which time the suspect reportedly shot the victim in the leg before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was last listed in stable condition.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
