We are pleased to announce an exciting competitive event awards package from our sponsors for the 2025 AFBF YF&R national competitions. Thank you to our generous returning sponsors of Ford, Case IH, AmericanAg®and Stanley Black & Decker.
The YF&R program helps young members shape their future and American agriculture through leadership development and personal growth opportunities. Three competitions enable members to showcase their leadership experience, communication skills and successful business plans as they compete against the best of the best from each state Farm Bureau.
The South Carolina competitors in the 2025 national competitions are Drake and Nicole Yon for the Achievement Award, Nicole Burbage for Excellence in Agriculture award, and Samuel Quinney for the Discussion Meet.
As part of the YF&R competitions, the top four competitors in the Achievement Award, Discussion Meet and Excellence in Agriculture areas will receive:
Winner* (First Place) receives:
$35,000 credit towards a new Ford vehicle (value of $35,000)
*Ford, located in Dearborn, Michigan, is the sponsor of the awards. The Ford award is not transferable, assignable, and/or redeemable for cash. The award winners are solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/or state income tax with respect to the receipt of the award.
Runner-up** (Second Place) receives:
$25,000 credit towards a new Case IH piece of equipment (value of $25,000)
**Case IH, located in Racine, Wisconsin, is the sponsor of the runner-up awards. The Case IH awards are not transferable, assignable, exchangeable, and/or redeemable for cash. Each runner-up is solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/or state income tax with respect to the receipt of the award.
Finalist** (Third Place) receives:
A $2,500 Investing in Your Future cash prize, courtesy of AmericanAg®
**AmericanAgTM, located in Schaumburg, Illinois, is the sponsor of these finalist awards. The AmericanAg® award is not transferable, assignable, and/or exchangeable. Each finalist (3rd place finisher) is solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/or state income tax with respect to the receipt of the award.
$2,500 worth of Stanley Black & Decker merchandise (PROTO, DeWalt, Stanley, Lenox & Irwin)
**Stanley Black & Decker, located in New Britain, Connecticut, is the sponsor of these finalist awards. The Stanley Black & Decker awards are not transferable, assignable, and/or redeemable for cash. Each finalist (3rd place finisher) is solely responsible for the payment of any and all related federal and/or state income tax with respect to the receipt of the award.

In the event any of the above awards are unavailable, AFBF reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value in its sole discretion. Winners, runners-up and finalists will be expected to 1) accept the awarded prize and 2) consent to the use of their name, likeness and hometown in promotional material, and must be legally eligible to do both.
