TRAFFIC ALERT: Route W CLOSED in Hickory Co. for Pipe Replacement Dec. 4-6 & 9

Where: Hickory County Route W from County Road 173 to end of state maintenance at County Road 153 north of Wheatland

When: 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Wednesday-Friday, December 4-6 and Monday, December 9

What: MoDOT crews replacing damaged pipes underneath the road

Traffic Impacts:

• Route W CLOSED where crews are working
• Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances on either end of the work zone but will not be able to travel through the work zone
• All Route W lanes OPEN during nighttime hours
• No work done on weekend
• No signed detours
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
