American Airlines Expands Service to Chicago O'Hare

AMERICAN AIRLINES EXPANDS SERVICE TO CHICAGO O'HARE

Nonstop daily service to Chicago O'Hare begins June 5, 2025

Bismarck, ND: Bismarck Airport is excited to announce American Airlines will begin daily nonstop service between Bismarck Airport and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) on June 5, 2025. This new service will operate midday allowing travelers to connect to the second busiest airport in the country via American's vast network. With over 100 connection opportunities including popular destinations on the East Coast, Florida, and international destinations, access to the world has never been easier for the region.

"We were thrilled to learn about American's announcement to start service to Chicago O'Hare." stated Airport Director, Greg Haug. "American continues to be a fantastic partner for Bismarck Airport and the region and this new service will be a great option for travelers."

The new service to Chicago O'Hare (ORD) will be flown daily with an Embraer 175 aircraft, a comfortable 76 seat regional jet, including a 12-seat premium cabin.

"Complementing existing service to Dallas/Fort Worth, this new service will offer customers convenient connections to more than 100 cities, making it easier for travelers to reach cities in the Midwest and Northeast including Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C., as well as global cities such as London and Rome."
