Walton man arrested for possessing Child Pornography

On August 2, 2024, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Sidney, with the assistance of the Troop "C" Computer Crimes Unit and the Walton Police Department arrested Spencer Gransbury, age 35 of Walton, NY for five counts of the class "E" felony of Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child.

An investigation revealed that Gransbury was in possession of images consistent with child sexual exploitation. His arrest follows an investigation stemming from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). On August 2, 2024, a search warrant was executed at Gransbury's residence.

Gransbury was arrested and processed. He was transported to the Delaware County Correctional Facility for Central Arraignment.
