Lincoln Woods Barracks

At 4:32 PM, Troopers arrested Peerun Sou, age 28, of 96 Althea Street, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I-V Less than 10 Grams (Fentanyl), 2.) Possession of Marijuana - over 2 Ounces and 3.) Driving With Expired or Without a License - 4th or Subsequent Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Twin River Road in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men's Intake Center to be held as a Probation Violator.

At 4:37 AM, Troopers arrested James S. Wight, age 37, of 100 Elena Street, Apartment 313, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Domestic - Felony Assault - First Offense, 2.) Domestic - Disorderly Conduct, 3.) Driving Without Consent of Owner, 4.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown - First Offense, and 5.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of an investigation into a domestic assault which took place on the Route 6/10 connector, in the City of Providence. The subject was located in Cranston, where he was taken into custody based on the 24-hour domestic rule. Wight was then transported to the State Police - Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
