Scituate Barracks

On Saturday, September 8, 2024 at 3:26 PM, Troopers arrested Solmarie Torres, age 37, of 38 Atwood Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1) a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department and a 2) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Violation Hearing on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I-V Controlled Substance originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to Headquarters, where she was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution - Women's Intake Center.
