Public Invited to City Hall Renovation Open House September 19

September 6, 2024 - The public is invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at recent renovations of Midland City Hall during an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 19 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall atrium.

The event will include remarks from Midland Mayor Maureen Donker and The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation President and Trustee Dr. Ruth A. Doan and a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m., followed by self-guided tours of City Hall until 5:30 p.m.

The current Midland City Hall building at 333 W. Ellsworth Street opened to the public in 1989. Renovations made to the building over the past two years prioritize staff and visitor safety, accessibility, and workplace efficiency.

The City Hall renovation project was made possible with generous support from The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation.
