Newton County purchases vehicles from 2023 SPLOST

In 2023 residents understood the need to improve the fleet and equipment utilized by Newton County government services. The voters exercised their right to take a vested interest in enhancing their quality of life by supporting the 2023 SPLOST, which included a Public Safety Fleet Replacement Program and General Fleet Replacement Program. Thanks to the support of this initiative, Newton County was able to improve public safety, purchase vital pieces of equipment and new vehicles, improve reserve vehicle resources and establish a consistent vehicle replacement program.
