Christmas/New Year 2024-25 closures

It's nearly time for the Christmas and New Year holidays! We hope that all UNE staff, students and communities enjoy their well-deserved break, whether they're celebrating the holidays, spending time with family and friends, travelling or just simply relaxing.

Below is a list of UNE facilities' and services' holiday hours during this time.

UNE Sydney: Closes 5pm, 22 December | Reopens 2 January, 8:30am

UNE Tamworth: Unstaffed from 21 December to 5 January. Accessible by ID card 5:30am-11pm.

UNE Taree: Unstaffed between 23 December and 8 January. Accessible by ID card 6:30am-10:30pm.

AskUNE: Closes 20 December, 5pm | Reopens 2 January, 9am

UNE IT Support: Closes 22 December, 5pm | Reopens 2 January, 8:30am

Dixson Library: Closes 22 December, 7pm | Reopens 2 January, 9am. Hours will vary from 2-12 January.

Law Library: Closes 20 December, 5pm | Reopens 13 January, 9am

UNE Life facilities and services are as follows (correct as at 18.12.24 - please check here for any updates):

Safety & Security: Operating 24/7 as usual. However, the C018 office will be closed from 23 December to reopen 2 January.

Shuttle bus: Not available from 22 December | Restarting 6 January

UNE Life Healthcare Centre: Closes 24 December | Reopens 2 January, 8.30am

SportUNE: 24 December: 8am - 6pm | 25 & 26 December: Closed | 27-31 December: 8am-2pm daily | 1 January: Closed | 2 & 3 January: 8am - 2pm | 4 January: Return to normal hours

Advocacy & Welfare: Closes 25 December | Reopens 2 January

The Shop: Closes 24 December, 2:30pm | Reopens 2 January

UNE Life HQ: Closes Wednesday, 25 December | Reopens 2 January

Sleek Hair: Closes 20 December, noon | Reopens 8 January

UNE Life Events & Catering: Closes 23 December | Reopens 6 January

Café W77: Closed from 29 November | Reopens 24 February

Café Life: Closes 20 December, 3pm | Reopens 2 January

The Bistro: Closes 20 December | Reopens 15 January 2025 for food, but space will reopen on 2 January

TuneFM: Closes 23 December | Broadcasting continues over shutdown | Reopens 2 January
