​Columbia, S.C. (September 9, 2024)-The South Carolina Department of Transportation will temporarily close and detour part of Riverview Road in York County beginning on September 16 for construction that is part of the York County's Riverview Road widening project.

Riverview Road will be closed between Cherry Road and Celanese Road. Access to businesses will be maintained. The road is expected to be reopened by the end of October.

As part of the closure, a detour will be put in place using Celanese Road and Cherry Road. A map of the detour can be found below.
