B-2 Drug Control Unit Recovered Drugs and Ammunition Following a Search Warrant in Dorchester

At about 12:54 PM, on Friday, July 19, 2024, members of the Drug Control Unit of (B-2) and the Citywide DCU, arrested Jefrey Candelario, 28, of Dorchester, on drug and firearm related charges.

Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 52 Wrentham Street. As a result of the search warrant, officers recovered two plastic bags of Fentanyl (8 grams), fourteen rounds of ammunition, and approximately $2,019 in US currency.

Candelario was placed under arrest and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Class A, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
