SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Portage, Michigan Extends Closing Date to Friday, August 9

Atlanta - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today it will extend the closing date for the Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Portage, Michigan. The Center was originally scheduled to close July 26, but due to ongoing activity it will remain open through Friday, Aug 9. The SBA opened the center to assist businesses and residents affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that occurred on May 7.
Until then, SBA's friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives at the Center is available to answer questions, help apply for an SBA Disaster Loan, accept documents, and provide updates on an application's status. Walk-ins are accepted, but you can schedule an in-person appointment at an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center in advance. Hours of operations are indicated below.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Closed: Sunday
Permanently Closes: Friday, Aug. 9 at 4 p.m.

The filing deadline to return applications is Sept. 6, 2024, for physical property damage and
April 8, 2025, for economic injury applications.
