Town of Hamburg - Hilbert College Athletic Field Project Phase 1

Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Hamburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hilbert College Athletic Field Project Phase 1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new outdoor athletic facility for Hilbert College, constructed in two phases. This facility will replace their existing grass facility and will be located within the same area of the campus. Phase 1 will involve the construction of a multi-purpose synthetic turf field surrounded by a 400 meter running track facility. Phase 1 will also include asphalt sidewalks for pedestrian and emergency vehicle access, scoreboard, concrete pads for portable bleachers and a 1,200 ± square foot equipment storage building. Necessary stormwater management facilities will be designed to include the overall development of both Phases. The project is located at 5200 South Park Avenue in the Town of Hamburg, New York.
