Town of Hamburg - Feedmore WNY Build Facility

Negative Declaration

Erie County - The Town of Hamburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Feedmore WNY Build Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a new 217,600 square foot state-of-the-art, energy efficient pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) facility and 34 acre campus for FeedMore WNY to manage production and delivery of fresh-made, nutritious home delivered meals as well as congregate meals for individuals in need in four counties (Erie, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua and Niagara counties). The organization also provides food bank services along with a host of other programs related to nutritional education, fresh produce access, work force development training and more. In addition to the main facility, there is a truck wash building for their vehicle fleet, an outdoor pavilion & restroom building, a garden storage building and previsions for an all-season greenhouse. 34 acres of the 74 acre undeveloped green site will be developed. The project is located at 4832 Camp Road in the Town of Hamburg, New York.
