UW ‘Crisis of Democracy Around the Globe?’ Lecture in Casper Oct. 21

As part of its "Challenges to Democracy" lecture series, the University of Wyoming School of Politics, Public Affairs and International Studies will host its third statewide program Monday, Oct. 21, at UW-Casper.

"Crisis of Democracy Around the Globe?" will be presented at 5:30 p.m. in Room 322 of the Union/University Building on the Casper College campus.

Participants on the panel will be Tom Dougherty, the 2024 Milward L. Simpson Visiting Professor of Political Science at UW and former U.S. ambassador to Burkina Faso; UW Professors Andrew Garner and Jean Garrison; and UW Assistant Professor Jason McConnell.

The same lecture also will take place at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, in the Laramie County Public Library's Cottonwood Room, located at 2200 Pioneer Ave. in Cheyenne.
