HACU accepting applications for Emerging Leaders' Summit at Austin Community College, Oct. 4

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is accepting applications from undergraduate and graduate students to participate in an in-person Emerging Leaders' Summit on Oct. 4, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Austin Community College: Highland Campus.

The event is being presented in partnership with Austin Community College and Ascender Catch the Next. The Summit will include career development workshops designed for students of all majors with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Students enrolled at HACU-member institutions in the Austin area are eligible to apply.

Workshop topics will focus on career opportunities, tips for resume writing, interviewing, and securing internships. Students will also have a chance to meet with corporate and federal employers in attendance.

One participant will receive a sponsorship to attend the 2024 HACU ¡Adelante! Leadership Institute at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado.
