Azerbaijan Army holds session on material and technical support

Training-methodical session was held at the Training and Educational Center of the Azerbaijan Army with the Chiefs of departments, branches (units) and services on material and technical support of types of troops, army corps, formations, military units and special educational institutions.
The session was attended by Acting Chief of the Main Department of Logistics of the Defense Ministry, Major General Eldaniz Yahyayev.
The session commenced with commemorating the bright memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Reports on the work done during the current year and tasks accomplished in the main directions were heard, the state of material and technical support and the reforms implemented in this area were analyzed during the session.
Major General E.Yahyayev spoke about the measures taken in the field of material and technical support in the Azerbaijan Army and the main tasks ahead.
Plus, issues related to the general state of material and technical support, registration of weapons, equipment and other means newly introduced into the armament, delivery of information on their operation, prospects for material and technical support and preparation for the winter period were discussed.
In addition, within the work held to adapt the Azerbaijan Army to the Turkish model, the creation of a new information system in order to ensure more operational management of material and technical support from a single center was discussed.
At the end, the relevant instructions of the leadership of Defense Ministry on advancing material and technical support were delivered to the relevant officials.
