Scituate Barracks

On Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 8:35 AM, Troopers arrested Jason Cogean, age 41, of 15 Watkins Ave, Cranston, Rhode Island for a 1). Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of Cranston Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 North in the Town of Lincoln. The subject was processed and later turned over to Adult Correctional Facility - Men's Intake.

On Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 12:12 AM, Troopers arrested Carlos Ramos Torres, age 30, of 28 Malbone Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor - BAC Unknown - First Offense; 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test - First Offense; and 3.) Reckless Driving. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the State Police - Scituate Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
