EOC Update: Calcite Creek Wildfire (K61067) - Sunday, August 4, 2024, 12:30 pm

INFORMATION RELEASE

The Evacuation Order issued by the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Emergency Operations Centre (RDOS EOC) on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 8:00 pm for the Pasayten area in Electoral Area "H" remains in effect.

The Evacuation Order is for 16 properties from the intersection of Highway 3, south to Pasayten Forest Service Road. The RDOS EOC is communication with BC Wildfire Service and continues to monitor the situation.

Evacuation Order: You must leave the area immediately.

An updated Evacuation Alert remains in effect for Eastgate and Placer Creek.

Evacuation Alert: This is the time to get prepared to leave your home on short notice.
Get your grab-and-go bag, a small emergency kit that is easy to take with you, in case you need to leave right away.

The next update is scheduled for 5:30 pm on Sunday, August 4, 2024, or if the situation changes.
